A Brilliant, full dark brown/black morocco leather cover design with ornate gold descended gold decor with folding cover flap, gold floral gilding to page edges when closed, opening written prayer to back of first page, with a gorgeous illuminated two page Unwan with gold gilt and color floral decorations, each page illuminated in beautiful gold borders, some larger gold borders to top, middle & bottom with script inside towards the end, gold periods & dots throughout, fifteen lines of text per page in black Naskh Script, with red script to spellings, variations of certain words to margins.Overall is in Very Good condition. Some wear to edges, not sure if spine was redone, chipping to outer hinges, internally hinges are very good, dulled gold to front, some loss to descended decorations, old leather repair to outer flap, pencil inscription Constantinople Mai-May 1912, some margin blemishing here and there throughout, good amount of old margin and paper repairs, some ink smearing, one has a loss of a few words, gold floral gilt to page edges faded at bottom and some to side, top is the best, few pages stick out a tiny bit, but text block is very secure.
